LOLA C. SNYDER

Lola C. Snyder, daughter of Stephen Lee and Bertha Lazenby Fellows, was born March 13, 1901 at Keosauqua and departed this life Friday, December 3, 1982, in Joliet, Illinois at the age of 81.

On January 19, 1924 she married Howard B. Snyder at Keosauqua. They later lived in Ottumwa and Batavia and returned to County Lane Apartments in Keosauqua in 1979.

Surviving are a daughter, Nola Louise Owen and her husband Edward of Joliet; a son Dwight E. Snyder and his wife Marjory of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Willa Murdock of North English and a brother, Harold Fellows of Keosauqua, other relatives and friends. A sister, Vera Fellows, and a brother, Kenneth Fellows preceded her in death.

Mrs. Snyder attended the Keosauqua Congregational Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 6, at 1 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with Rev. Louise Knupp officiating. Interment was in Fellows Cemetery, Keosauqua. A memorial was established for the Keosauqua Congregational Church.
