Emma H. Miller

Funeral services for Emma H. Miller, 85, Stockport, a former Wever resident, were held on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1982 at the Barr Memorial Chapel with the Rev. P.J. Budreau officiating. Burial was in Soldiers' Circle, of Oakland cemetery.

Mrs. Miller was born Sept. 7, 1897, at Spencer, Iowa. She was a resident of southeast Iowa for 50 years and was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic church in Fort Madison.

On July 15, 1924, at Carthage, she was married to Lloyd Miller, who preceded her in death in 1953.

She is survived by two sons, James of Stockport and Arthur of Clutier, Iowa and a sister residing in California. Four grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters. Her parents were F.W. and Emma Stemle Maurer.
