KEITH WOLF

Keith Wolf, 63, rural Keosauqua, died of cancer at 10:15 a.m. Friday, September 3, 1982 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines.

The son of Gale and Weltha Sherod Wolf, he was born May 22, 1919, near Mt. Zion. On May 24, 1941, he married Hazel Chaney at Fort Madison.

He spent his life farming in the Bentonsport community. He was a director of Farmers Mutual Insurance Association, a former director of the Southeast Iowa Electric Cooperative at Mt. Pleasant and had served on the Van Buren County Farmers Home Administration Board.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 6, at the Bentonsport United Methodist Church, the Rev. Paul Knapp officiating. Burial was in Miller Chapel Cemetery, northeast in Miller Chapel Cemetery, northeast of Keosauqua. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua was in charge of arrangements. Memorials have been established to the church and the Cancer Fund.
