Kathryn Griffiths

Kathryn Griffiths, 83, a Keosauqua native, who has been in Hanover, Ill., died Friday, Nov. 28, 1982 in Galena Spauss Hospital, Galena, Ill.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in Law-Jones Funeral Home of Hanover, Ill., with Rev. James McDonald officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover.

She was born March 17, 1899, in Keosauqua to Albert and Anna Lee Starr Lazenby. She was married to Roy Griffiths March 12, 1918 in Keosauqua. He died January 3, 1982.

Survivors include two sons, James and Charles, both of Hanover, Ill., eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a brother, David Lazenby of Keosauqua, and a sister, Iona Ve Blackburn of Phoenix, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.
