Service For F. Workman

Services for Faye M. Workman, 72, 501 S. Main, will be Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Harold Schendelr officiating. Burial will be in Kilbourn Cemetery.

Mrs. Workman's death was discovered Sunday evening by neighbors who became concerned when she failed to answer her phone or door. Dr. C.F. Watson, county medical examiner, estimated she had died of natural causes early Sunday morning.

Mrs. Workman was born July, 10, 1904 at Kilbourn, the daughter of Charles and Bessie Catcott Maxwell. On Jan. 11, 1923 she married Lee Workman in Ottumwa. They farmed in Mount Zion Community north of Keosauqua until retiring to Fairfield in 1972 where he died April 9 of that year.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Hasty of Shepherdsville, Ky.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
