WILLIAM V. DAVIDSON

William V. Davidson, 76, son of Herman R. and Eva J. Moxley Davidson was born on March 16, 1906 near Fairfield, Iowa and passed away on March 31, 1982 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He spent his early life in Van Buren County and graduated from Keosauqua High School in 1925. On June 1, 1929 he was married to Bernice Park who survives. Bill served as Van Buren County Clerk of Court for four years. He was active in the Methodist Church and civic groups.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kent of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Park of Greensboro, four grandchildren; a sister Lillie Higdon of Greenwood, Indiana and a brother Joseph I. Davidson of Sigourney, Iowa. he was preceded in death by two brothers.

Graveside services were held April 3 at Center Chapel Cemetery near Keosauqua with Rev. John Wilkin officiating. Memorials may be made to the Greensboro Independent Day School.
