RUTH POOL

Mrs. Ruth B. Pool, 84, of 1826 Plank Road, died at Keokuk Area Hospital, Wednesday, February 3, 1982. No services were held at this time and a cremation and mierring of ashes will be held at a later date.

She was born March 16, 1887, near Revere, Missouri, a daughter of Arthur and Mary Morris Vaughn. She married Russell Vaughn. She married Russell E. Pool in 1922 at Lewistown, Missouri. She had been a Keokuk resident for many years.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.

Suvivors include a son Melvin L. of Rock Springs, Wyoming; a brother John of Mount Pleasant; a sister, Mrs. Lora Case of Orlando, Florida and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.

The Pools lived in Farmington at one time when Mr. Pool taught and coached girls basketball.
