NORA ELIZABETH HEISE

Nora Elizabeth Heise, 89, of rural Farmington, died Sunday, March 15, 1981, at 11:55 p.m. in Henry County Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.

Born April 26, 1891, at LaCrew, Iowa, she was the daughter of Rudolph J. and Barbara Becker Jesberg.

She married Edward William Heise on Nov. 20, 1912 in the home where she spent most of her life. He preceded her in death on August 2, 1970.

She spent most of her life in the Sharon community and the Bonaparte area. She was confirmed in the Zion Evangelical church at Primrose and was a member of the Sharon United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Robert Heise of Mt. Pleasant and Ray Heise of Colorado Spring, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Aulden (Pearl) Van Winkle of Hillsboro and Mrs. Lewis (Hazel) Van Winkle of Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, one great granddaughter, one brother and one sister.

The funeral was held Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sharon Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kenneth Harden officiating. Burial was in Sharon cemetery. The Hofbauer Funeral Home at Donnellson was in charge of arrangements.
