FLOYD E. "DOC" WATSON

Floyd E. Watson, son of Charles and Dora Scotton Watson, was born March 29, 1902, at Granger, Missouri and departed this life Thursday, August 20, 1981, at Park View Care Center in Fairfield, Iowa at the age of 79.

He was an auto mechanic in Fairfield for many years and later worked in the maintenance department at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

Surviving are his widow, the former Opal Lazenby, a daughter, Edna Mae Lee of Fairfield, four grandchildren, a brother, Earl Watson of Keosauqua, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 22, 1981, at 1:30 P.M. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Rev. Louise Knupp officiating.

Burial was in Harness Cemetery Mount Sterling.
