EILEEN WILSON

Eileen Wilson, age 55, passed away Thursday, Aug. 27 at the University Hospital in Iowa City.

She was born October 18, 1925 at Superior, Nebraska, the daughter of Robert and Katie Thrasher Benton and was later adopted by Lillie and the late George (Bill) Elliott.

She was married to Kenneth Wilson in 1953. He survives as well as two daughters and a son, Mrs. Gary (Jolayne) Rogers of Belton, Mo., Berneil Wilson of Ames, Iowa and Kendrick Wilson of Birmingham, a grandson, her adopted mother, Lilly Elliott of Wellman, Iowa, two brothers, Roy Benton of Portland, Oregon and Louis Benton of Tucson, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

She had attended two years at Olivet Nazarene College at Kankakee, Ill.

Mrs. Wilson was an active member of the Zion Bible Church of Douds, having spent most of her life in the Fairfield and Birmingham areas and was employed as bookkeeper of the S. & R. Equipment Co. of Birmingham for the past five years.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 31, 1981 at the Zion Bible Church with Rev. Walter Shuka officiating. Interment was in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Memorials to the Cancer Society or the Zion Bible Church may be left at the Birch Funeral Home in Birmingham.
