RUBY MAY SHAW

Ruby May Shaw, 75, of Farmington died unexpectedly Monday, April 20 at 5:30 p.m. at home.

The daughter of Elmer and Anna Hanson Boyd, she was born March 28, 1906 at Leon, Iowa.

She was first married to Norval P. Gray and later married Ellsworth Shaw.

She spent most of her life in Farmington and was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include her husband, Ellsworth Shaw, two sons Donald Gray of Farmington and Gary W. Shaw of Kahoka, Mo., and one daughter, Verla Zeh of West Point, three brothers, Gerald Boyd of Farmington, Ray Boyd of Kahoka, Mo., Francis Boyd of Milton; two sisters, Mrs. Cyrus Aletha Folker of Farmington and Sylvia Sampson of Keosauqua, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington with Pastor Gary Worsham officiating. Burial will be in Greenglade cemetery, Farmington. The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
