BENJAMIN H. WILLIAMS

Benjamin H. Williams, 85, of 3610 Forty-seventh St. died of a heart ailment Saturday, June 6, 1981 at Northwest Community Hospital. Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 1981 at Glen Echo Christian Church, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.

Born in Stockport, Mr. Williams lived in Des Moines for 46 years and retired as an executive with the Veterans Administration in 1963.

He was a member of the Glen Echo Christian Church, the American Legion, the Des Moines Garden Club, and the Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Survivors include his wife, Irene; a daughter, Dorothy A. Duckett of El Dorado, Kan.; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Ben Williams Memoral(err) Fund at Glen Echo Christian Church.
