BILLY LEE WOLFE

Billy Lee Wolfe, son of Leonard and Dorotha Evans Wolfe, was born June 28, 1934 near Mt. Sterling and departed this life Monday, December 22, 1980 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 46.

He was a long-time resident of the Van Buren County Care facility.

Remaining to cherish his memory are a sister, Martha Glaha of Birmingham, a brother, Dean Wolfe of Bonaparte, his step-mother, Verla Wolfe of Keosauqua, a step-brother, Ted Thomas of St. Charles, Illinois six nephews and six nieces. He was preceded in death by both parents and a step-mother, Berniece Wolfe.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 24, 1980 at 1:30 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Rev. Paul Knupp officiating. Pallbearers were Russell Wolfe, Ted, Bill and Kevin Glaha, Bob Hamberg, and David, Jimmy, and Lonnie Cochran. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery at Cantril.
