Obituary
ALMA H. JARVIS

Alma H. Jarvis, daughter of William and Clemmie Hansock Hank, was born December 16, 1901, in Louisa County, Iowa and departed this life on Saturday, February 14, 1981, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 79.

On December 24, 1921, she married Donald C. Jarvis in Burlington. They lived in Louisa, and Des Moines counties as well as in Wisconsin and Missouri. They had farmed south of Douds for 17 years until retiring to Keosauqua in 1976. Mr. Jarvis died in 1977.

Remaining to cherish her memory is her son, William of Wapello, Iowa, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Jarvis attended the Keosauqua Congregational Church and The Valley Club.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, a good neighbor and friend.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 16, 1981, at 1 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Louise Knupp officiating. Interment was in the Wapello, Iowa Cemetery.
