HELEN ELDER

Services for Mrs. Helen O. Elder, 75, of Keokuk, who died Tuesday, July 7, 1981, at Keokuk Area Hospital, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Greaves Mortuary with the Rev. Terry Halstead officiating.

Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery at Farmington.

She was born Nov. 17, 1905, at Farmington. She married Jack S. Elder in 1932 at Farmington. She had been a resident of Keokuk since 1940.

She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include sons Richard of Keokuk and Charles Steeples of Escondido, Calif.; daughter Mrs. Jerry (Shirley) Paine of Ontario, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Hazel Hawke of Farmington; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and two sisters.
