OTTO A. (R.) BROWN

Otto A. Brown age 72 of Birmingham, Iowa passed away Saturday, June 6, 1981 at the Jefferson County Hospital where he had been a patient 3 days.

He was born June 10, 1908 near Stockport, Iowa, the son of Nathanial and Eva Runyon Brown. Married August 13, 1927 at Stockport to Irene Johnson, who survives, as well as a son Donald of Birmingham and a daughter Mrs. Lois Allman of Pacific Junction, Iowa; 8 grandchildren.

Also surviving are 3 brothers Alva of Delworth, Minn., Asa of Mahnomen, Minn. and Ira of Birmingham; 4 sisters - Mrs. Alma Standby of Des Moines, Mrs. Iris Chapuis of Tucson, Ariz. Mrs. Lola Webber and Mrs. Esta Rowe, both of Fairfield.

Mr. Brown was a retired employee of the Lauden Co. having worked there for 27 years and a member of the Birmingham Friendly Folks.

Funeral Services were held Monday, June 9, 1981 at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with Rev. David R. Kennedy officiating. Interment was in Spencer Cemetery.

Memorials to the Birmingham Public Library may be left at the Funeral Home.
