Obituary
LONA MALTBIE BUCK

Word has been received of the death of Lona C. Buck of Prescott, Arizona on January 23, 1981.

She was the daughter of John A. and Carrie Daughrity Maltbie, lifelong Keosauqua residents. Mr. Maltbie was a partner in the store of Maltbie, Beer and Wright, which was in the building occupied by Hohl & Hohl Hardware.

She worked in the Clerk of Court's office under the late Arthur Mounce, and for an insurance company in Des Moines before moving to the west, where she resided for many years. She was active in veterans' organizations in Prescott.

She is survived by her husband, Leo V. Buck, and numerous cousins, among whom are Mrs. Charles Morris of Cantril, Mrs. Norwood Teal and Lawrence Daughrity of Keosauqua.
