Zugg Funeral In Galesburg

Rites were Tuesday in Galesburg, Ill. for Mrs. Basil H. Zugg, who died there Saturday at Cottage hospital. She was 57.

Survivors include her husband; mother, Mrs. Anna Carlson of Pulaski; son Lyle of Iowa City; daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Van Fleet of Galesburg; tw brothers, Hilmer Carlson of Memphis, Mo., and Clifford Carlson of Bloomfield; two sisters, Mrs. Dale Murphy of Pulaski and Mrs. Ben Williams of Des Moines; and five grandchildren.

She was born Aug. 21, 1904, at Andover, Ill., moving to Iowa in 1913 with her parents. She graduated from Milton high schools and taught in Van Buren rural schools 15 years. For 15 years prior to her death, she was employed as a store telephone operator.

Her father and a brother preceded her in death.
