Irma Zeitler

Irma G. Zeitler, 64, of 919 Boone, died Saturday June 7, 1986, at University Hospital in Iowa City.

She was born May 30, 1922, near Troy to George and Anna Pruitt Sailor. She graduated from Troy High School and later was employed as a real estate salesperson and a seamstress in Bloomfield. She also was employed at Everco Industries in Ottumwa. She was a past Noble Grand of Troy Rebekah Lodge. She married Harold Zeitler May 30, 1939 at Milton. The two farmed in the Douds, Troy and Milton communities and moved to Ottumwa in 1978.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Larry of Geneseo, Ill.; a daughter, Beverly Cooley of Sterling, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Doud.
