Holmes Younker

Holmes Younker, 81, of Milton died April 17, 1994, at the Pleasantcare Nursing Home in Pleasantville.

He was born July 13, 1912, in Warren County to Orpheus and Cordelia Parrott Younker. He married Mary Black on Oct. 29, 1934, in Memphis, Mo. She died July 21, 1982.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by two daughters, Jane Bradshaw of Livonia, Mo., and Sandra Heaberlin of Pleasantville; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Maxine Sidwell of Mountain Home, Ark.; and a brother, Donald of Milton.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Emil, Cress, Charles, Jim and Celo; and a sister, Olive.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wed., April 20, 1994, at the Milton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kim Eanes officiating. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Family visitation will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Priester Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield.

Memorials may be made to the Troy Academy.
