Mary E. Younker

A former Milton resident, Mary E. Younker, 71, died at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Davis County Hospital.

She was born Nov. 18, 1910, in Van Buren County to Samuel and Jenny Rinabarger Black. She married Holmes Younker on Oct. 29, 1935 in Memphis, Mo. He survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Jane Bradshaw of Livonia, Mo. and Sandra Heaberlin of Pleasantville; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Mabel Casady of Bloomfield, and a brother, Alva Black of Milton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Milton Christian Church. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Ellis Andrews. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Priester Funeral Chapel in Milton.

Viewing will be after 2 p.m. Thursday but the casket will be closed at the beginning of the services.

A memorial has been established to the Cancer Fund.
