Ella Mae White

Ella Mae (Kinney) White, 81, formerly of Milton, died May 22, 1989 at the Scotland County Nursing Home.

She was born Nov. 16, 1907 in Van Buren County to Jesse Omer and Zenith Haines Kinney. She had lived at the Scotland County Nursing Home for four years and prior to this lived in Milton for 40 years. She was a long time member of the Milton Christian Church and worked in the M.W.C.F. as long as her health permitted.

She married Samuel Alonzo White. He died December 30, 1986.

She is survived by three children, two sons, Roy Lee of Bourbonnals, Ill., Donald Eugene of Kankakee, Ill., and a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Betty) Hartwig of Lodi, Calif., nine grandchildren and eight grandchildren and one sister, Pauline Stehr of Kankakee, Ill.

Funeral services were held May 25, 1989 at the Payne-Gerth Chapel in Memphis, Mo. with the Rev. Edwin B. Pool officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.
