Nellie Barker Workman died at her home southwest of town, Wednesday last at the age of 22 years. The funeral was held at Miller's chapel Friday. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Barker, and this is the first death in their family. She leaves a husband, a babe five days old and a large number of relatives and friends to mourn her death.

NOTE: Nellie was born 22 Nov 1876 and died 26 Jan 1899.
