Services for Ellen Elizabeth Mincks, 30, who was fatally injured when she was struck by an automobile in downtown Des Moines Thursday afternoon, will be at the United Methodist Church in Bloomfield at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Bloomfield.

Miss Mincks, who lived at 1201 Locust Ave. here, was hit by a car driven by LeRoy Mays, 46, of 1407 Jefferson Ave. as she was walking across Eighth Street at Grand Avenue. She died of head injuries shortly after being admitted to Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Survivors include her parents, Dr. and Mrs. James Mincks of Bloomfield; a brother, Bryan, of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Deborah Lindeen of Swedesburg and Patricia Berryman of Tipton; and her maternal grandfather, Dr. Lorin b. Sebrell of Dover, Del.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Davis County Hospital nursing scholarshihp program and to the Bloomfield United Methodist Church.

Investigation of the accident was continuing Friday, officials said.
