Milo Leroy Morgan

Leroy Morgan of Memphis, Missouri, 40, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospital, Monday morning, August 18, 1980, after a car accident three weeks ago.

On May 27, 1962, he was united in marriage to Mary Franklin. To this union two daughters were born, Paul Marie and Marcia Lynn, of the home.

He joined the Brock United Methodist Church at an early age.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Smith.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; daughters, Paula and Marcia; his parents, Milo and Eva Morgan; a sister, Darlene and husband, Ray Drummond and two nieces, Kristina and Kerri Drummond of Grand Blanc, Michigan; aunts and uncles, Clare and Lucille Morgan of Memphis, Missouri, and Hillis and Pat Morgan of El Monte, California; several cousins and in-laws and a host of friends.

His entire life was spent in Scotland County on the farm, where he was born.

Funeral services were conducted by the Payne-Gerth Funeral Home from the Methodist Church in Memphis, Wednesday, August 20, 1980, at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Neil Dubach and Rev. Steve Million officiating. Pallbearers were James D. Baker, Floyd C. Baker, Phil Hyde, Roy Hyde, Leland Hyde, and Delbert Hyde. Interment was in the Brock Cemetery, Scotland County, Missouri. Soloist was Mr. Kenneth Campbell. Organist was Mrs. Connie Courtney.
