Gail Marriott

Gail Marriott, son of Otto and Julie Davis Marriott, was born Dec. 6, 1910 near Bentonsport and died Saturday, April 28, 1984 at Ottumwa Hospital in Ottumwa at the age of 73.

Gail's life was spent farming in Van Buren and Davis counties, the past number of years in the Milton community.

Remaining are his wife, Annise, a stepson, Ronald Forbes of Sepulveda, Calif., two step grandchildren, a nephew, Dr. Don Wilson of Baker, Oregon, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 1, 1984 at 1:30 p.m. in Grace United Methodist Church in Milton, with Rev. Charles Butler officiating. Interment was in Center Chapel Cemetery south of Keosauqua. A memorial was established for the Center Chapel Cemetery. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, was in charge of arrangements.
