Annise R. Marriott

Annise R. Marriott, daughter of John and Lena Winslow Hootman, was born Dec. 13, 1904 at Stockport and died early the morning of Monday, Feb. 11, 1985 at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Mo. at the age of 80. She had lived a number of years in the Milton community. Her husband Gail Marriott, preceded her in death April 28, 1984. A son, Merle Forbes died in childhood.

Surviving are a her son, Ronald Forbes of Sepulveda, Calif., two grandchildren, Alan and Aline Forbes, both of California, and three sisters, Vona Reynolds, Blythe Wofford and Esther Reeves, all in Idaho, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Marriott was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Milton and its United Methodist Women Society.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 14, 1985 at 1 p.m. in Grace United Methodist Church, Milton, with Rev. Charles Butler officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham. A memorial was established for her church. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua was in charge of arrangements.
