Ray L. McLeland

Ray L. McLeland, son of William and Isabelle Teter McLeland, was born January 12, 1887, in Cantril, Iowa and passed away June 22, 1982, in the Scotland County Memorial Hospital. He was 95 years of age.

August 25, 1912, he was united in marriage to Hazel Roberts who preceded him in death March 25, 1961. Also preceding him in death were his parents, six brothers and one sister.

He was married to Marjorie Sloan Cunningham in 1962 and she survives. Also surviving are two step-sons, Bob and Clarence Cunningham, four step-grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren which he thought so much of, several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Friday, June 25, 1982 at 3:00 P.M. in the Payne-Gerth Funeral Chapel, Memphis, Mo. with Rev. Ron White officiating. Burial was in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton, Iowa.
