Alice McMickle

Alice Pauline McMickle, 88, Milton died July 7, 1993, at Davis County Hospital.

She was born April 24, 1905, in Des Moines County to Louis C. and Marietta Shumate Hansen. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Legion Auxiliary in Milton.

She is survived by two sons, John of Peoria, Ill., and Ronald of Kansas; two daughters, Shirley Johnson of Mount Ayr and Doris Peel of Phonenix; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Charlotte Kelestinski of Rantoul, Ill.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and James; and three sisters, Helen Nason, Gladys Six and Dora McMickle.

Funeral services were held July 9, 1993 at the Grace United Methodist church with the Rev. Kim Eanes officiating. Burial was in the Sunnyside Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church.

Priester Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
