Rae McCullough

Rae McCullough, son of Samuel and Minnie Enlow McCullough, was born June 20, 1896, near Savannah, Iowa, and died October 3, 1974, at the Davis County Hospital. He was 78 years, three months and 13 days of age.

He was married to Mabel York December 13, 1916. To this union two sons and two daughters were born.

Surviving ar his wife, two daughters, Berniece Cossel, Memphis, Mo., and Margaret Williams, Tucson, Ariz., two sons, Harold, Ottumwa, Iowa, and Gordon, Bloomfield, Iowa, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one sister, Edna Cozad, Albany, Oregon, one brother, Samuel, North Bend, Oregon, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Guy.

He retired from farming two years ago and moved to Downing, Mo.

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 6, 1974, at the Priester Funeral Chapel, Bloomfield, Iowa, conducted by the Rev. Don Sanders. Rosemary Priester was organist and Florence Weilbrenner, pianist, Rosalie Gooden and Elmer Weilbrenner were vocalists.

Pallbearers were Jack Billhymer, Keith Lister, Dan Stockham, Carl Stookesberry, Gene Stockham and Hobert Gooden. Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield, Iowa.
