Alfred Lunsford

Alfred Lunsford, 89, died Monday evening June 25 at 8:40 p.m. at his home in Milton. His entire life was spent on a farm south of Milton, moving to Milton when his health failed a few years ago. He was a member of the Milton Christian church. March 11, 1900 he was married to Bessie Harman. He is survived by his wife and four children, Daisy Work, Lela Cundiff, Roy and Glen Lunsford. Three grandchildren, Jerry Lunsford of Cedar Rapids, Keith Lunsford and Dean Cundiff of Milton. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Abslom, Jim, Dave and five sisters, Mary, Bell, Laura, Mattie and Stella.

Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Wellborn funeral home with burial at Chapel cemetery south of Milton, conducted by Lowell Paulson, pastor of the Milton Christian church.
