Early in life she confessed her Saviour and united with the Christian church, remaining faithful to the end. She lived most of her life on the family homestead, near Keosauqua, where she was born, with the exception of one year in Colorado, and five years, after marriage, in Missouri.

On January 15, 1913, at the home of her parents, she was united in marriage to Franz Keller. To this union five children were born all of whom she leaves to mourn her death, Joseph age 11, Marie, 9, Emma, 6, Ila May,3 and an infant, Arleta. Besides her bereaved husband and children, she leaves her mother Mrs. W. H. Her father, one brother and three sisters preceded her in death.

She was a kind and loving wife, mother and sister.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 16th at 1:30 p. m. from her home conducted by Elder Herbert C. Shaw, pastor of the Cantril Christian church. A part of the fourteenth chapter of John was used as the scripture lesson and the subject of the sermon was "Scenes from the Life of the Master." A mixed quartet sang, beautifully, the following songs: "Going Down the Valley," "There's a Land of Pure Delight," "It is Well With My Soul." Burial in Purden [sic] cemetery.

NOTE: The cemetery is probably Purdom Cemetery in Keosauqua, Van Buren County, Iowa.
