Mildred Luko

Mildred Luko, 85, died Thursday in the Bloomfield Manor.

She was born May 6, 1896 in Davis County to Thomas R. and Eva Tibbles Brunk. A homemaker, she was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church and lived in Davis County all her life. She married Frank R. Seabury in February of 1916. He died in 1932. She married Ray Luko on Feb. 12, 1938 in Bloomfield.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ed Seabury of Council Bluffs; a stepson, Dr. Hugh Seabury of Iowa City; a step-daughter, Iris Feagins of Bloomfield; two sisters, Eva Small of Bloomfield and Fern Jones of LaHarpe, Ill.; five granddaughters; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Wagler Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Don Slaughter. Burial in the IOOF Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Bloomfield Christian Church.
