Lowell Eugene Louder

Lowell (Gene) Louder, 64, of Memphis, Missouri, was born November 12, 1920, near Maryville, Missouri, and he passed away November 14, 1984, at the Twin Pines Adult Care Center, Kirksville, Missouri. He was the son of Leo James and Vera Jones Louder.

He was married to Mable Fowler in 1940 and to this marriage two children were born, Harvey Dena and Ann Janet.

In 1973 he was united in marriage to Estelyne Rush, in Memphis, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Estelyne, of Memphis; one son, Harvey Louder and wife, Ellen, of Midlothian, Illinois; one son-in-law, Charles Aldridge, one step-son, William Rush, both of Memphis; his mother, Vera Nance of Crawford, Nebraska; six grandchildren, Blaine, Ronald, Brian, Randall, Ronda and Robyn; six great-grandchildren, Darren, Angel, Sonya, April, Wendy, and Heather; three brothers, William Louder, California, Verlin and Larry Louder of Kirksville, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father, one daughter, Ann Aldridge, and one great-grandchild.

Gene was a member of the Odd Fellows #104 and the Rebekah Lodge #623, the Club Master of Pack #97 for 6 years, a member of the United Methodist Church, and a Veteran of World War II.

Services were held Friday, November 16, 1984 at 2 p.m. from the United Methodist Church. Rev. Brent Mustoe officiated.
