JANE LEUTHOLD

Former Milton resident Jane Leuthold, 89, of Mt. Pleasant died there Sept. 11. (1980?)

She was born Nov. 29, 1890 at Davis County to John Elbert and Mary Bell Davis. In 1921 she married Calvin A. Leuthold. He died in 1944.

She taught school at Milton, Port Angeles, Wash. and Chicago. She was a member of First United Methodist church in Mt. Pleasant. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1914 and was a graduate of Chicago Teacher's College and University of Chicago. She attended school in Davis and Van Buren counties. She was a member of Daughters of American Revolution and Alpha Xi Delta Alumni.

Survivors: a sister, Lola Enness of Mt. Pleasant.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Weir Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant with Dr. Robert P. Robinson officiating. Burial: Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton on Tuesday afternoon Sept. 16, 1980.
