Archie V. Latta

Archie V. Latta died at his home in Sun Valley, Calif., on February 1, 1980, at the age of 71 years and ten months.

He was the son of Scott s. and Eulalia Latta born March 31, 1908, in Winfield, Iowa. At the age of one he moved with his parents to Davis County< Iowa, where he spent his entire boyhood and attended the Bloomfield Public Schools. He graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1928. He then went to Moline, Ill., and lived for many years.

He married Bonnie Hamilton at Moline. They were the parents of five children, one son, Larry of Oregon, and four daughters, May of Washington, D.C., Betty of Texas, Sandra of Texas, and Donna of Califronia and several grandchildren.

He is survived by three brothers, Glen of Bloomfield, Iowa, Ralph of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Floyd of Monticello, Iowa, three sisters, Mrs. Iva Baird of Bloomfield, Iowa, Mrs. Nellie Rose Schofield of Woodbine, Iowa, and Mrs. Laurena Mangini of Kent, Washington, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, three brothers and wife, Bonnie.

Burial was in Santa Monica, Calif.
