HAZEL LAWRENCE

Hazel Bell Lawrence, 94, of Milton died at 9:20 a.m. July 23, 1990, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

She was born Oct. 8, 1895, in Davis County to Absalon and Addie Olive Watson Lunsford. She married George Morton Lawrence on March 8, 1912, in Memphis, Mo. He died Dec. 3, 1964.

She was a homemaker, a member of Milton Christian Church, Ruthain Sunday School Class and Pythian Sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Meryl Arnold of Memphis, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Homer; a grandson; a great grandson; a brother; and a sister.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 1990 at Milton Christian Church in Milton, the Revs. Ed Pool and Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Barker Cemetery in Scotland County, Mo.
