Homer G. Lasley

Services for Homer G. Lasley, 83, were held today, Tuesday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield after he died Saturday at the Davis County Hospital.

He was born Sept. 7, 1893 in Schuyler County, Mo., to William and Jennie Gordy Lasley. He married Viola Ware on Dec. 3, 1914 at Memphis, Mo.

He was a retired farmer and had lived in Davis County for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Pulaski Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, LaVerne of Pulaski; a sister, Celia Hayes of Pulaski; three grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

The Rev. Lowell Newland presided at the services and burial was in the Barker Cemetery in Scotland County, Mo.

A memorial has been established to the Cancer Fund.
