G. Harold Kline

G. Harold Kline, 74, of 502 South Marion Avenue, Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday noon, October 28, 1980, at his home. Death was sudden and unexpected.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 31, 1980, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Berkey Officiating. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery.

George Harold Kline was born April 23, 1906, at Pulaski, the son of Fred and Caroline Bachman Kline. He was reared and educated at Pulaski.

ON August 26, 1926, he married Marie Green of Bloomfield. He live in Washington since 1929. He worked as a grocery clerk for Barclay Grocery and Lythe Grocery and in his retirement and part-time most of his life he was a shoe repairman.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Kline of Washington; two brothers, Woodrow W. Kline of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Henry Kline of Pulaski; a sister, Mrs. Anna Roberts of Pulaski, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Kline, and three sisters, Lydia Weatherington, Nellie Stewart, and Rosa Simmer.

Mr. Kline is also survived by the following, he was a brother-in-law of Anna Green, and an uncle of Walter Kutzner, Marvelle Adams and Roberta Onken of Memphis.
