Gladys Knedler
Gladys Knedler, 83, died Monday at her home in Phillipsburg, Mo.
She was born Aug. 8, 1898 in Davis County to James Albert and Sarah Elizabeth Reed Barnett. She was a school teacher for more than 30 years in Davis County rural schools. She moved to Phillipsburg five years ago. She was a member of the Bloomfield Church of the Nazarene.
She married Claude Knedler in 1918 in Davis County. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include four brothers, Clay of Shell Knob, Mo., Aura of Washington, Ross of Urbandale and Charles of mesa, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, conducted by the Rev. J.C. Leonard. Burial will be in Dunnville Cemetery.
