Perry Harold (Kit) Kittle

Perry Harold Kittle, 71, died at Sun Valley Convalescent Hospital in Pleasant Hill, California.

He was born in Milton, Iowa, and lived 31 years in Martinez. He served in the Navy Seabees, during World War II. He was a retired operating engineer and belonged to Operating Engineers Union Local 3 in Oakland. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Douds, Iowa.

Surviving are his wife, Sybel E. of Marinez; son, James E. of Tacoma, Wash.; daughter, Patricia Monte of Concord; sisters, Retha Foster of Kelley, Iowa; Dixie Clark of New Sharon, Iowa, and Kathryn Madsen of West Burlington, Iowa; brother, Thomas Houlihan of Pleasanton, Iowa; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Burial was at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette, California.
