Jeannette Kathryne Kimball

Jeanette Kathryne Kimball, was born August 29, 1887, to Marshall Hampton Hargrove and Ann Eliza Lorimor Hargrove in Ness City, Kansas. She came to Davis County when she was two years old. She died September 28, 1982, at the age of 95 years.

She married Lewis Kimball in Moulton February 18, 1906. Rev. Bevan of the Methodist Church was the officiating minister. She was converted when young under the ministry of Rev. Gardner in Moulton. To this union two children were born, Harold and Helen.

Her husband Lewis died September 20, 1941.

Jeannette is the last of six children.

Since her conversion as a youth she has remained a member of the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Hele and LaVern McMains, son and daughter-in-law Harold and AnnaBelle Kimball, plus four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, niece and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 30, 1982, at the Wagler Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Ellis E. Andrews. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield, Iowa.
