Clara Ivins

Mrs. Clara Ivins, 77, Danville Care Center, died there at 11:35 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25.

She was born July 3, 1908, at Pulaski, to J.B. and Annie Jane Allen. she married Charles Kenneth Ivins Aug. 26, 1932, at Memphis, Mo.; he died Feb. 12, 1983.

Mrs. Ivins was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving: Two sisters, Lula Gonterman, Bettendorf, and Mildred Heither, Davenport, and a brother, Lewis Allen, Milton.

Memorial service: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Prugh's Chapel, the Rev. Clifford H. Haskins. The body has been deeded to the Department of Anatomy University of Iowa. A Medical Research memorial has been established at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
