Betty Hoover

Betty Claudean Hoover of Omaha, Neb., died Nov. 1, 1985, at Clarkson Memorial Center after a short illness.

She was born Dec. 9, 1927, in Milton to Elmer and Dola Goffney Bletzer. She married Dean U. Hoover on July 27, 1947, in Chicago, Ill. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Judy Jennings of Omaha, Neb.; a granddaughter; her mother of Ottumwa; and a sister, Beverly Ogden of Ottumwa.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Kremer Funeral Home with burial at Mount Hope Cemetery in Omaha, Neb.

Pallbearers were James Zeitler, Norris Goffney, Leroy Robison, Jim Hendrick, Paul Ogden and Howard Gibson.
