MINNIE HOUSER

Minnie Houser, 82, of 1001 S. James died Feb. 2, 1980 at 12:10 p.m. in Ottumwa Hospital.

She was born March 7, 1897, at Centeerville(err) to Arthur and Minnie Boyd Williamson. She lived in Milton before moving to Ottumwa in 1943. She was a member of Milton United Methodist Church. She married Allen Edgington Oct. 10, 1915. He died December 15, 1948. She married Clarence Houser in January 1955. He died Nov. 9, 1975.

Survivors: daughters Wilma Bales and Pauline Stafford of Ottumwa and Ruth Green of Rock Springs, Wyo.; sons Clyde Edgington of Garden Grove and Dale Edgington of Ottumwa; a stepdaughter, Wilma Briner of Grand River; and 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and 13 stepgreat-grandchldren.

Services: 1:30 Wednesday, Feb. 6, 1980 at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. George King of Foursquare Church - Evangelistic officiating. Burial : Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton, Iowa.
