INEZ B. HILL

Inez B. Hill, daughter of Albert L. and Hattie Jones Bentley, was born March 21, 1894 at Strawn, Illinois, and departed this life Saturday, February 16, 1980 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua at the age of 85. On April 17, 1919, she married Earl R. Hill in Bloomfield. They farmed in the Troy and Milton communities. Mr. Hill died January 17, 1970.

Remaining to cherish her memory are four daughters, Anna Black of Milton; Florence Leger(Ledger) of Drayton Plains, Mich., Wilma Heller of Newhall, Iowa and Joan Hopkins of Kansas City, Mo.; and two sons, Wayne of West Des Moines and Keith of Cantril. Also surviving are nineteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, three sisters, Nora Sutton of Burlington, Mabel Bentley of Peoria, Ill., and Ruth Panky in Florida; two brothers, Bruce Bentley of Mediapolis and Dee Bentley of Rotunda West, Florida, other relatives and friends.

Three sisters, three brothers, a son, Isaac, and two grandchildren, Teddy Heller and Robert Black preceded her in death.

Mrs. Hill attended the Milton Christian Church and was a member of its Christian Women's Fellowship, Russell Strait Unit, American Legion Auxiliary and the Stitch and Chatter Club.

She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, a good neighbor and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, February 18, 1980, at 2 P.M. in the Milton Christian Church with Rev. Richard Faletti officiating. Interment was in Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton.

Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua. A memorial was established for her church.
