Blanche Derr

Blanche F. Derr, 82, Troy, died at 11:16 a.m. Saturday at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

She was born March 28, 1897 in Davis County to William and Lydia Small Burton. She had lived in Troy since 1965. She married Harry Derr on April 28, 1923. They lived in Van Buren County and were owners-operators of a Milton restaurant. He died May 25, 1964.

Survivors include two sisters, Nora Comingore of Fairfield and Bessie McQueen.

Funeral services were held today at the Wagler Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Eldon Haworth. Burial was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
