George Cundiff

George Lee Cundiff, 64, Milton, died at the Davis County Hospital at 4:48 p.m. Sunday.

He was born June 22, 1915 in Kansas to George L. and Emma Myers Cundiff. He was a plumber and a farmer in Van Buren County. He was a member of the Milton Christian Church.

He married Lela Lunsford on April 2, 1932.

Survivors include his widow; a son, Dean of Fort Madison; three grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Anderson of Yucca Valley, Calif., and Cleon Halley of Belmont, Calif.; and two brothers, Kenneth of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Clarence of Shawnee, Okla.

He was preceded in death by one grandson.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Milton Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Caughron and the Rev. Richard Falletti. Burial will be in the South Prairie Cemetery.
