Earl Martin

Earl Martin, 74, of 507 E. Burlington, Fairfield, died Monday, June 14, at 5:30 a.m. at his home.

He was born Sept. 3, 1896 at Leando.

He married to Mildred McCormack Sept. 25, 1920. She preceded him in death in 1963.

He was a retired Jefferson County employe and a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Martin Sr. of Fairfield and Harold Martin of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren, and one sister, Lucille Haynes, of Bonaparte.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10:30 at the Weston Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. Wilson Hyde officiated.

Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.
