THURSDAY, APRIL 29, 1971Chester C. Stipe
Chester C. Stipe, 69, S. Walnut, Mt. Pleasant, died sometime Sunday night at his home. Mr. Stipe was found about 6 P.M. Tuesday. Medical Examiner Dr. Robert Wettach ruled the cause of death was from natural causes.
He was born May 25, 1901, at Salem, the son of John W. and Clara Smith Stipe.
He was a retired farmer from Stockport community and for past 16 years had lived in Mt. Pleasant.
Surviving are one brother, Orville and one nephew, Hazen Stipe, both of rural Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services were held Thursday, at the Beatty-Jennings Chapel with the Rev. Glen Richard, pastor of Pleasant View Mennonite Church officiating. Interment was at the Forest Home Cemetery.
